There are goals that seem impossible until everyone starts achieving them. It is from this idea that “Together We Make the Impossible” was born, EGF's new communication concept for 2026, developed in partnership with White Way. More than a campaign, this concept is a permanent invitation to everyone's participation: citizens, municipalities, partners, companies, schools, and communities. An invitation to recycle more, separate better, and look at small daily gestures as part of a larger mission: building a more sustainable future for the country and the planet. In a sector undergoing profound transformation, marked by increasingly demanding environmental goals and the need to accelerate the transition to a more circular economy, EGF reinforces its commitment to closer, more positive, and mobilizing communication. Through its 11 dealerships, present from north to south of the country, the company wants to make sustainability clearer, more human, and more present in people's real lives. The creative concept stems from a simple and powerful paradox: the impossible begins when everyone does their part. Separating packaging, recycling a bottle, placing waste in the correct recycling bin, or participating in an environmental initiative may seem like a small gesture. But when multiplied by thousands of people, this gesture gains scale, generates impact, and brings the country closer to its environmental goals.

In 2025, Suldouro recorded solid growth in separate collection, reaching a total of 33,368 tonnes of recyclable materials – an increase of 7.5% compared to 2024. This result reflects the joint efforts of the local population and the commitment of various local institutions, notably the municipalities of Vila Nova de Gaia and Santa Maria da Feira, as well as their respective parish councils, combined with the operational work carried out by Suldouro. One of the highlights of 2025 was the consolidation of the ‘Reciclagem à Porta’ project, the system that allows residents to sort their waste at home, using dedicated bins that are collected by Suldouro according to a pre-defined schedule. In 2025, this model grew once again, reaching around 2.5% and exceeding 10,500 tonnes collected, cementing its position as one of the pillars of these results. Since 2014, Door-to-Door Recycling has completely transformed the recycling landscape in the region, now accounting for over 40% of the packaging collected.

Selective collection maintains positive trend and energy produced from waste exceeds 500 GWh. EGF, the leader in urban waste treatment and recovery in Portugal, recorded significant progress in its main operational indicators in 2025, particularly in the treatment and recovery of biowaste and selective collection, reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability, innovation and operational efficiency.
