SULDOURO is responsible for the treatment and valorization of urban waste from the Southern Douro Multimunicipal System, encompassing the municipalities of Santa Maria da Feira and Vila Nova de Gaia, thus contributing to the sustainable development of the region and the country and to the maximization of human well-being through value creation.

The system currently serves a population of 440,000 inhabitants in an area of ​​384 km2.
